My Life in Links

A teacher I subbed for this week had a Spirograph, and you know, it was as much fun as I remembered. I even interested some students in playing with it.

I’m trying to pray the Divine Hours, again.

The first recipe I have successfully prepared. Ever. So don’t talk trash about Giada. This really was an accomplishment — I once made a chocolate birthday cake for Jim that turned out a half inch high and green.

Sufjian Stevens is one of the Sexiest Men Alive according to Salon magazine. But before you get too excited (Elisse), so is Neil Patrick Harris. Still, it’s nice to see Detroit’s own recognized.

I am addicted to a TV series called Dead Like Me. I think it was originally on Showtime but now they’re showing it on the Sci Fi channel on Tuesday nights. It’s about a seemingly directionless college drop-out who gets killed by a toilet seat and becomes a grim reaper. It’s actually a pretty funny and touching look at family and mortality.
